This is an updated and revised edition of the study by the same author published by the IPS in 1985 under the same title. It describes and analyses Israeli legislation in the Occupied Territories with regard to land confiscation, Jewish settlement, restrictions on academic freedom and the media, collective punishment and economic exploitation.
