1949, The First Israelis

Abstract:

This is a translation of the Hebrew work bearing the same title by the revisionist Israeli journalist, Tom Segev, on the establishment of Israel which radically differs from the official Zionist version of the event. Segev draws on thousands of declassified documents along with personal diaries and correspondence to reconstruct the unvarnished story of Israel's first year.
