Israel's Original Sin

Abstract:

This book, translated from French, focuses on the circumstances immediately surrounding the birth of Israel in 1948: the Zionist military operations in that year, their responsibility for the mass exodus of the Palestinian refugees, and Israel's role (with particular reference to the militant leadership of Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion) in the failure of the post-war peace talks. The author draws upon the writings of the Israeli revisionist historians: Ilan Pappé, Avi Shlaim and Benny Morris.
