Jerusalem: Zionist Plans, Occupation, and Judaization
Abstract:
This study details the process of Zionist and Israeli expropriation of Jerusalem from the middle of the nineteenth century to the wars of 1948 and 1967, based on primary Hebrew sources, especially official publications. It provides an in-depth account of the plans to settle the city and control it militarily, as well as the systematic policies designed to eradicate the Arab presence in the holy city and erase its Arab character. The work also discusses Zionist claims to the city and responds to attempts to rewrite its history as an Arab-Islamic city. It also includes appendices containing some of the most important documents pertaining to Israeli violations of international law in the city.
