B1. PALESTINIAN CENTER FOR POLICY AND SURVEY RESEARCH (PSR), POLL ON FAVORABILITY OF THE TWO-STATE SOLUTION, 21 SEPTEMBER 2015 (EXCERPTS)

As part of PSR’s regular polling series, the Palestinian public opinion poll covering the quarter June–August 2015 documented the Palestinian public’s diminished faith in the Palestinian Authority (PA) and Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), declining support for the two-state solution, and growing approval for armed struggle as a means of ending the occupation. The poll was conducted amid rising tensions in Jerusalem and the West Bank and frustration with perceived collaboration between the PA and Israeli occupation forces. Additionally, the poll demonstrated an increased feeling that Arab countries no longer prioritize the future of the Palestinians, and that somemay even be allying with Israel due to other regional concerns.
